Subsequently, Nirvana released their second album ‘Nevermind’ in 1991, with the opening track ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ which drove them to instant fame. Comprehensibly, Kurt struggled with his new celebrity status, and the 24-year-old millionaire musician soon became addict to heroin.<br /><br />On March 4th 1994 while on tour in Rome, Cobain overdosed on Rohypnol. The alleged suicide was labelled an accident and he returned home.<br /><br />On April 5th 1994 at home, Kurt Cobain was believed to have committed suicide with a single shotgun blast to the face.<br /></span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">I say ‘believed’ to have committed suicide because, although the death has been legally recognised as suicide, there remains a group that claims Cobain was murdered. This theory is substantiated by the physical evidence that Cobain would have been incapacitated by the level of heroin in his blood; similarly the shotgun was too long to be triggered by Kurt in order to cause the angel of the shot. Also there were no fingerprints found on the gun, and the authenticity of the suicide note was questionable. One theory includes Kurt Cobain’s resident nanny as the murderer on the instruction of Kurt’s wife Courtney Love.</span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/14690691-112195170733163895?l=crudeanthology.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Bennoreply@blogger.com1
